---------------------------------------------- With a view to inculate patriotism and a spirit of National integration among the people, Abhinaya National Theatre Festivals have been conducted by ABHINAYA, popular theatre journal at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad,A.P.,India in the years 2006, 2007,2008,2009 and 2010 respectively. As it was a multilingual theatre festival popular associations from various parts of our country have participated in those theatre festivals. The performance have well been received by all theatre-lovers as the plays were endowed with rich material and enabled theatre persons to exchange views with one another and to reap the benefit of learning many new things hither to unknown to them. As this is prestigious project Dept. of Culture, Govt of A.P.,South Zone Cultural Centre,Tanjavur,Andhra Pradesh State Film,T.V.and Theatre Development Corporation, Eastern Zone Cultural Centre, Kolkata, Karnataka Nataka Academy, North East Zone Cultural Centre,Dimapur, Nagaland,South Central Zone Cultural Centre, Nagpur, Cannada&Culture Depts,Bangalore have collaborated with this National Theatre Festival in order to make it a grand success.

Now, this year also we have made up our mind to organise, Abhinaya National Theatre Festival in Hyderabad from 10-8-2011 to 13-08-2011. Plays of all languages are invited. Instead of routine type of themes, plays with experimental nature together with technical values are preferred. For this, video C.D. containing the performance of the play, or D.V.D. along with a copy of synopsis of the play may be sent. Result of selection will be communicated to the applicant in the month of June, 2011.

Food and accommodation will be provided by Abhinaya free of cost. Remuneration for performance will be paid to the association on the day of performance.

All associations all over India are requested to avail the opportunity to produce their play in this prestigious National Theatre Festival.
